The Liverpool Centre began life as an outpost of the Stone Dyslexia Institute and had developed to serve the needs of both children and adults in Merseyside and the surrounding areas. It currently has over 80 students.

The Centre office is open between 9am-5pm on Monday to Thursday and 9am - 1pm on Friday with an answering machine facility outside office hours.

The Centre offers the following services:

  • Free Advice Surgeries (by prior appointment - Please telephone 0151 428 6987
  • Psychological assessments by chartered psychologists for both children and adults
  • Group screening for schools, colleges and other institutions
  • Assessments for exam concessions
  • Pre and post assessment consultations
  • Specialist multisensory tuition for children and adults
  • Study skills for students of all ages
  • Awareness talks and INSET days
